Historic Dogwood is a limited edition print of an original mixed media of the historic dogwood located in the Huntsville Botanical Garden by CPSA Signature artist Linda Morton. The artwork is approximately 8x10.  Dogwood shows the historic dogwood when it is in when in full bloom in early spring as seen from the water garden. The dogwood is approximately 110 years old and has been at the Huntsville Botanical Garden for about ten to fifteen years. It is the largest and oldest dogwood in Alabama and is the cornerstone of the garden. The tree was moved when Old Madison Pike was widened and area schoolchildren donated their change to fund the move. When the tree was moved the root ball weighed about 80,000 lbs and required house moving equipment.  Unfortunately the tree seems to have reached the end of its life as much of it now appears to have died.

This limited edition print is individually inspected, numbered and signed by the artist and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Prints are produced when ordered and usually take from two to four weeks to complete and deliver.  By only producing prints as needed I reduce my inventory costs and pass savings along to you.
